Crypto.com launches AI user assistant Amy

AI’s world domination continues as Crypto.com unveils Amy – an AI companion for users learn about crypto with “near real-time information about specific tokens and projects, as well as details on price listings and historical events”.

According to Crypto.com: “Amy is intended to serve as a crypto expert resource for the average user, anchored in deep learning and data to help capture opportunities in the fast-moving crypto sector.”

Amy is based on ChatGPT technology from OpenAI and will not give financial or investment advice while the tech is being honed. Info from this project will be applied to Amy’s rollout, as well as future Crypto.com AI-supported launches.

The project, in its Beta phase, is currently available to Crypto.com/Price users. Increased access to Amy will be rolled out to Crypto.com users in the coming weeks.

“As with other businesses and sectors, we see incredible potential and opportunity in the convergence of AI with the crypto industry and our platform specifically,” said Abhi Bisarya, EVP, product at Crypto.com.

“We are excited to be testing this emerging technology through our Amy pilot project. We are bullish on the innovation of AI in crypto, and we look forward to continuing to enhance the utility of Amy and deploy additional AI-powered capabilities.”

‘Responsible innovation’

“Building the ecosystem has been a priority focus for Crypto.com from the start,” said Kris Marszalek, Crypto.com CEO. “We double downed on our commitments to building and responsible innovation, and Amy is the latest example of our incredible momentum.”
