Bitcoin Hyper’s $32M Raise Makes It One of May’s Best Crypto Presales

Best Crypto Presales for May

The global crypto market cap sits at $2.58T today, with Bitcoin trading at $75,238 and holding 60% dominance – a figure that has barely budged in weeks, even as a couple of altcoins start pumping. Right now, two narratives are pulling the most investor money: scalable infrastructure and Bitcoin utility. Both have real momentum in the data.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) shows an example of this, trading at $60.125 with a 24-hour move of -4.62% but up 16.40% on the week, sitting in the top 10 by market cap at $15.74B. It’s proving that purpose-built financial infrastructure can find a permanent hold.

Sei (SEI) at $0.069846, up 6.77% on the day and 14.01% on the week, is telling a similar story from a different angle – high-throughput execution layers are winning.

These projects together validate what the next wave of crypto infrastructure needs to look like and, against that backdrop, we explore presales that combine genuine utility with early-stage momentum and are attracting serious attention. Three projects currently in raise – Bitcoin Hyper, LiquidChain, and Maxi Doge – are each hitting different parts of the market, and each has already done enough to earn a closer look.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)

Bitcoin Hyper has raised $32.7 million in presale, a figure you don’t often see from a project that hasn’t listed on exchanges yet. The token is currently priced at $0.01368, with a hard supply of 21 billion HYPER tokens (a deliberate nod to Bitcoin’s own 21 million cap) and is audited by both Coinsult and SpyWolf, with results published on-site.

The project’s core ambition is one that the industry has been circling but not succeeding in for years: making Bitcoin usable for payments without abandoning the security that makes it valuable.

Bitcoin’s base chain can only handle fewer than 10 transactions per second, and fees spike during congestion, and there’s no native support for smart contracts. Against ETH and SOL, it feels like a limited chain that only succeeds as a store of value.

Bitcoin Hyper addresses the bottlenecks by building a Layer 2 network that uses the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) for fast, low-latency smart contract execution, with final settlement anchored back to Bitcoin Layer 1.

With a non-custodial bridge, users can lock their BTC and start using its equivalent value at Solana speeds, moving back into BTC whenever they want. Transactions are batched and sent back to the BTC base chain, providing the transparency and security of Bitcoin. The roadmap plans exchange listings and a developer SDK by the end of 2026, and continues with a DAO governance structure in 2027.

Presale participants can currently stake HYPER at 36% APY before the Token Generation Event, and the tokenomics allocate 30% to development, 25% to treasury, and 20% to marketing. The final 15% is reserved for rewards.

Bitcoin was always meant to be peer-to-peer electronic cash. HYPER aims to build that missing infrastructure.

LiquidChain (LIQUID)

A new entrant, LiquidChain has raised more than $800,000 in its presale, with LIQUID priced at $0.0146. It is an early start, but the idea behind LiquidChain is large, and the project is audited by both SpyWolf and CertiK, the latter being the most rigorous auditors in the space.

The project is a Layer 3 liquidity unification layer – effectively a network layer that sits above Layer 1s and Layer 2s and can see all of them at once – routing liquidity across chains without requiring users to think about which chain they’re on.

Cross-chain fragmentation is one of the more stubborn problems in crypto right now; billions in TVL sit in isolated ecosystems simply because the bridging and routing experience is poor. With LiquidChain, that goes away.

The Hyperliquid comparison is useful here, as HYPE demonstrated that a purpose-built financial infrastructure layer can go from unknown to top-10 without major exchange listings at launch. LiquidChain isn’t Hyperliquid, but the comparable product positioning (connectivity infrastructure rather than consumer-facing application) suggests the project is building in the right pond.

Maxi Doge (MAXI)

Maxi Doge, with a raise of $4.78 million at a presale price of $0.000282 per MAXI, comes equipped with the kind of personality that meme coins need to go far on social media: gym-bro energy, overt DOGE antagonism, and a community that’s more about attitude than abstract tokenomics.

Taking the challenge to Dogecoin, which currently trades at $0.1023 with a $17.4B market cap, Maxi Doge’s game is that there’s an appetite for a challenger meme coin that goes on the offensive, rather than the dozens that simply copy the format and wait for liquidity.

A 65% staking APY for presale participants gives early holders a reason to stay, and the $4.78M raise without exchange support yet is a massive signal that the community is building before exchange listings later in the year. Exchanges will be looking to scale that success and put MAXI within reach of the big dogs.

The MAXI meme coin approach won’t be everyone’s trade, but as a speculative vehicle in a market where DOGE still commands a top 10 market cap, the contrarian case is an interesting one.

The Common Presale Thread

Three projects, three very different sizes of raise, three different corners of the market, but they all share excellent capital raises before exchange listings, completed audits, and have great ideas – all the ingredients of a proper presale.

Bitcoin Hyper’s $32.7M raise is massive – few pre-listing projects see that kind of inflow without institutional backing. LiquidChain’s sub-$1 million raise suggests a project that is keeping a low profile while it builds. Maxi Doge brings the speculative energy the meme sector requires and has passed the early meme coin hurdles.
