CoinDepo Completes CertiK Review of Web Application, Resolves Reported Items

CoinDepo has finished an independent security review of its web application performed by CertiK. The complete record of the work (covering the areas examined, the methods used, every item noted, and the status of CoinDepo’s responses) is available on the company’s public CertiK Skynet profile.

The review covered the core functions of the CoinDepo web application, the operating rules and business logic that direct platform activity, and CoinDepo’s security and safety controls. CertiK tested the live system and carried out a close manual review to identify items that needed attention and measure how the application performed during the tests.

After CoinDepo completed the related updates, CertiK also conducted a second review to confirm those items had been addressed.

CoinDepo’s Skynet profile shows 18 findings from the web application review; 16 of them are marked resolved, including every item originally rated critical, high, medium, or low. The remaining two findings are informational and have been acknowledged. Because the profile is public, the specific items recorded during the assessment and the results of the later work can be checked and verified directly.

The profile already includes the results of an earlier CertiK assessment of the platform’s smart contracts, so independent evaluations now exist for both CoinDepo’s application layer and its contract layer.

CoinDepo also takes part in CertiK’s CertiK Hunt bug bounty program, which permits invited researchers to submit reports of eligible security issues via the program’s responsible disclosure process (subject to the defined scope and guidelines). This ensures that external testing can run in parallel with the formal audits that are conducted by CertiK.
