The team behind Shiba Inu’s metaverse project, Shib: The Metaverse Shiba Inu, has just announced a new upcoming preview of its new Rocket Pond project, with the official SHIB Twitter account also sharing the news.
The SHIB profile tweeted: “Get ready to uncover the secrets of Rocket Pond! Stay tuned to @mvshib and http://shib.io for an exclusive look at our #metaverse. Plus, don’t miss your chance to win some lands – there’s only a few days left to enter the contest! WOOF!”
Rocket Pond will bring new features to the growing SHIB ecosystem. In September 2022, the SHIB Metaverse team first unveiled the Rocket Pond ‘hidden resort’ through Shibaswap. The Rocket Pond idea is based on the landscapes of America’s Lake Tahoe, Cape Canaveral, Heavenly Village and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.
The Shiba Inu team has invited questions and queries regarding the forthcoming Rocket Pond project. In a tweet, it said: “Hey #SHIBARMY! Only a few days left until the reveal of Rocket Pond and to wrap up the contest! We’ll also be picking some MV-related questions from this post to be answered in our next blog. Stay tuned!”
At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at $0.00001023 – down 0.36% in the past 24 hours – and is currently ranked at number 14 in the total crypto market, according to CoinMarketCap.
The SHIB Shibarium – what is it and when is it?
In the meantime, SHIB fans are eagerly awaiting launch of Shibarium on mainnet. The launch of Shibarium is expected to drive increased adoption of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, as it addresses some of the key challenges facing the platform, such as scalability and transaction costs.
