Second Trump NFT Collection Sells Out in Hours

Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s second NFT collection, Trump Digital Trading Cards Series 2, has sold out in record time, generating millions in sales.

He’s back! Former U.S. President Donald Trump has launched his second NFT collection, Trump Digital Trading Cards Series 2, which sold out in just six hours.

The Trump-themed collection, released on April 18th, brought in millions of dollars for the former President, following the success of his first digital collectibles set in December 2022.

Trump’s Instagram Comeback for NFT Promotion

In an unexpected move, Trump returned to Instagram after a two-year hiatus to promote the launch of his new digital trading card collection. The news was initially shared on his own social media platform, Truth Social.

Priced at $99 each, the same as the first collection, the NFTs were minted on the Polygon blockchain. The lightning-fast sellout generated a staggering $4.6 million in sales.

Hints at a Presidential Return?

The collection consisted of 47,000 NFTs, sparking speculation that the number could be a subtle nod to Trump’s potential return as the 47th President of the United States. Users who purchased 47 NFTs will be rewarded with a dinner with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

Trump Series 1 NFT Floor Price Drops

The launch of Trump’s second NFT collection led to a 44% decrease in the floor price of the Series 1 digital trading cards. Interestingly, the previous NFT set had managed to maintain and even grow its floor price despite Trump’s recent indictment in New York.

As reported earlier, Trump made up to $1 million from the sales of his first NFT collection.

As Trump’s second NFT collection sells out in record time, it’s clear that the former President has found a successful venture in the world of digital collectibles.
