In total, the collection has 29,327 NFTs spread across 20 different designs and four rarity levels – Normal, Rare, Super Rare, and Super Super Rare.

Each NFT will include a digital ball and a meticulously designed collector’s card. It will grant owners access to a host of exclusive features and benefits, including a chance to train with Ronaldo. There are also specially curated rewards for owners of NFTs according to their rarity level.

New collection follows sold-out debut

‘ForeverCR7: The GOAT’ collection is building on the success of the first CR7 NFT drop that took place in November 2022. The premium CR7 NFTs were quickly sold out within a week, with the most valuable ones fetching an average auction price of $22,800.

Buyers were rewarded with exclusive benefits like signed football shirts from Cristiano Ronaldo and a virtual meeting opportunity with the football star.

Celebrity NFTs on the rise

Entertainment and sports personalities are embracing NFTs to build fan engagement and reward fan loyalty.

Snoop Dogg collaborated with Transient Labs to release a new NFT collection called ‘The Snoop Dogg Passport Series’ this month. The collection, which was released ahead of the rapper’s summer tour, grant users and holders exclusive access to events, behind-the-scenes content and merchandise.

Speaking to Variety, Snoop Dogg expressed his enthusiasm for the new series. “With the Passport Series, I can give my fans the opportunity to travel the world with me — no one’s ever done that…I’ve always been a pioneer, and digital merch is part of the future. I’m hoping other artists can see what I’m doing and continue to innovate on their own,” he said.
